Everyday work / HANDBOOK
Work with the browser
Connect a browser, keep control, and ask for a result you can check.
Pick a browser connection
Open Plugins → Apps → By Ankita team and select a browser. Both browser choices start disabled.
Playwright Browser uses a separate Chromium profile. Enable it and choose Download Chromium if setup is required. Run in the background keeps the browser hidden while the live stage shows the page.
Chrome Connection works with your Chrome session. Follow its connection instructions and check the connected status before starting a task. It is separate from the mascot’s drag-and-drop capture helper.
Give it a useful task
Name the site, the goal and the evidence you want back. For example: “Compare these two products using their official specifications and give me the source links.” Ask for review before a consequential action.
The live browser stage shows the page and tabs. Take control pauses agent browser actions; Hand back resumes. Stop cancels the selected run. A provider error or website refusal needs attention rather than repeated clicks.
Sign in privately
Use the desktop Secure store for saved sign-ins on the isolated Playwright backend. Credentials are bound to the exact website origin and filled through private references. The model does not receive the saved password as a tool result.
Chrome uses its existing signed-in session or manual sign-in. CAPTCHA and two-factor authentication can require you to take control. CLI and Telegram cannot access the desktop credential vault.
Browser instructions
Current development builds include a browser-use skill with guidance for fresh page references, batching editable fields, checking outcomes and recovering from failures. Plugins → Skills controls enabled skills. Settings and capabilities can vary by release; consult that version’s notes.
Good instructions reduce wasted actions, but they cannot remove provider queueing or guarantee that every model handles every website. Keep the goal and success criteria explicit.
Based on Ankita’s maintained product guides. Settings and availability can vary by version.
