Everyday work / HANDBOOK

Scheduled work

Set a routine, inspect the next run, and follow its result in the owning conversation.

Describe the routine

Ask a teammate to schedule a task with timing, timezone and success criteria. Supported timing includes daily times, weekdays, intervals and cron expressions. Ankita asks for missing details.

The receipt confirms creation, not execution. Open Schedule to inspect the next run, owner and result, edit the task, pause or resume it, run it now or stop the current run.

Keep the app available

Closing or minimizing keeps scheduling in the tray; Quit stops it. Startup at sign-in is opt-in. Settings → Background jobs shows current counts, startup availability and the task list.

Jobs use their own isolated browser profiles and do not attach to your foreground Chrome session. Switching app pages or teammates does not stop a job. Take control pauses browser actions explicitly.

Inspect the outcome

Results return to the owning teammate, with expandable run details and browser proof. A login challenge, CAPTCHA or missing saved account can need foreground attention. Stop a running job before removing it.
